Got a couple of cubies of peanut oil used once for a turkey fry, and it's congealed almost solid...
WTF? Same thing happend last year, but I don't know what kind of oil it was back then. When heated up, the oil is clear and runs through a 1 mic filter like it wasn't even there..The frypan test reveals little water. Is it the fat from the turkey, or does peanut oil get thick at higher temps that other oils?Murph |
